Staff

staffPinecrest camp staff serve for one or more camps during the summer. We have positions for direct, hands-on interaction with the kids as Counselors and Counselors in Training, as well as numerous support staff positions available. No matter your ability or gifts, there is something that you can do at camp!

Depending on the camp, Pinecrest needs people to supervise canoeing, kayaking, pelletry, archery, and crafts. We also may require a nurse, speaker, camp pastor, maintenance person, games coordinator, cooks and cook’s helpers. If you cannot help for a whole week, there is the possibility of coming to help for a half week and sharing the responsibility with someone else.

If you cannot come to help with camp during the camping season, there are also times in the year that maintenance and upgrades are done and we would be glad to have you work with us.  See the ‘Serve’ section for dates and times.

A Vulnerable Sector Check from the jurisdiction of your residence is required for you to work at Pinecrest. This can be received at your local police station. Also, a Child Welfare check must be done and can be obtained at your local provincial building. The cost of these will be reimbursed by the camp.

Applications can be emailed mailed to the addresses in the application.
